Devanagari: अनादि ISO15919: anādi
That which has no beginning. For example, God, the individual soul and maya - Brahm, jiva, maya - are all eternal entities. They did not come into being one day, and so they are all anadi. However, this material creation, samsara, was revealed one day and so it has a beginning. Therefore, it is called sadi (Devanagari: सादि ISO15919: sādi) and not anadi.
