Devanagari: आत्मरति ISO15919: ātmarati

An epithet used for Shri Krishna that means He who is self-content, requiring nothing from the outside, is perfect in all aspects, self-entertained, enchanted by His own self and performs pastimes with His own self.

This moniker is applicable only to Shri Krishna for He is advaya jnana tattva. This attribute is referred to by many other names too, such as:

  • atmakrida
  • atmarama
  • atmamithuna (Devanagari: आत्ममिथुन ISO15919: ātmamithuna)
