Devanagari: सुषुप्ति​ ISO15919: suṣupti

Dreamless sleep: there is no awareness of the eternal world or dreams; only ignorance, avidya, remains.

In this state, the mind, intellect and the senses all become inactive. The individual experiences blissful rest but without any awareness of it. In the state of sushupti, God embraces the individual soul, but the jiva does not know it.
