All descensions of God are His svamsha. They are endowed with all the powers of Shri Krishna and are governors of yogamaya shakti, yet, they exhibit only those powers that are needed in the moment. Unlike the individual soul, which is a separated part (vibhinnansha), a svamsha is a direct manifestation of the Supreme Lord Himself. They are identical to Him in substance and divinity. Although they possess omnipotence, they exhibit only those powers necessary for the specific purpose of their descension.
