Referring to the highly advanced spiritual state of a brahmajnani (a knower of the Absolute), it describes a sage who has attained such deep absorption in Nirakar Brahm that he is completely oblivious to his physical body and its needs. For example, this was the state of King Janaka before seeing Shri Rama in the garden.
