Devanagari: घुन ISO15919: ghuṇ

A weevil or ghun is an insect which survives by eating kernels of grains. The intellect of a ghun is incredibly low. With that much intellect, learning letters of the alphabet is impossible. Without knowing these letters, while burrowing into the grain, carving out the Lord’s name is an extremely slim possibility. Yet, if any ghun ever happens to carve the Lord’s name, then the all-gracious Lord bestows liberation or mukti upon that insect. This is called ghunakshara nyaya

Devanagari: घुणाक्षर न्याय ISO15919: ghuṇākṣara nyāya also written as ghunakshar nyay

The translation is: ghun means weevil, akshar means letter and nyaya means the rule of reasoning.

This illustrates the extreme mercy of God and the inherent potency of the divine name. It implies that if a living being—even one as insignificant as a worm—accidentally forms or chants the Lord's name without any intent or intelligence, the all-gracious Lord still grants them liberation. If such grace is available for accidental chanting, just imagine the immense spiritual reward one can attain by intentionally reciting His name while performing rupadhyan(meditation on His form).
