LEARN MORE

The term kevala means "only," "whole," or "absolute." Therefore, kevala bhakti denotes single-minded devotion to Shri Krishna, where He is the sole object of love and the sole means of attainment. It is not mixed with any other path or desire. The devotee rejects reliance on karma (ritualistic duties), jnana (speculative knowledge) or yoga, depending entirely on the grace and service of the Lord.
