LEARN MORE

Refers to the debt to humanity. According to Vedic sociology, no human being lives in isolation. From birth, every individual benefits from the structures, knowledge, protection and labour provided by the wider human society. We use roads we didn't build, eat food we didn't grow and learn knowledge discovered by others. This constant consumption of social resources creates a karmic debt to the entire human race (nri), which must be acknowledged and repaid. This debt is traditionally discharged through acts of charity, philanthropy and hospitality.
