LEARN MORE

Pramana is the standard or authority used to ascertain the truth of a statement or the nature of reality. It answers the fundamental question: "How do we know what is true?"

There are three forms of evidence: pratyaksh pramana: direct perception; evidence gathered through the material senses, anumana pramana: inferential evidence based on previous experience and shabda pramana: scriptural evidence in which there is no question of doubt.
