Different acharyas of bhakti also advise focusing on God's divine name, form, lilas, virtues, abodes. Along with dhyana they used different names like smarana (Devanagari: स्मरण ISO15919: smaraṇa), manana (Devanagari: मनन ISO15919: manana), sumirana (Devanagari: सुमिरन ISO15919: sumirana) and rupadhyana - focussing on divine form of God.
